Let's say that you have found a match and the two of you have been communicating for a while. With your mutual love of horses, there is always something there to break the ice during awkward moments when you have both run out of things to say. One of the best things about these locations is that they are often very secluded. You may have to drive a long way to get to some of them, but you will arrive to find that they are near the forest or the seacoast, that there are great fields all around, and that the closest towns have only a few thousand people. Many of the buildings that have been turned into bed and breakfast locations are historic estates that were set apart from the city because the original owners had a lot of money and did not need to live so tightly packed in with everyone else. Land was a sign of wealth, and so they bought huge tracts of land around their homes. You can now spend a few nights in one of these homes, experiencing that old feeling of wealth, luxury, and separation.

Another great thing about going to a bed and breakfast is that it will often be very near to attractions that are common in the country. There could be a small lake nearby, for instance, where you and your partner could go swimming or boating. There could be horseback riding trails moving through the nearby forest, where you could take a romantic ride and explore the vast reaches of the land on your own. There could be many other things such as hiking trails, hunting grounds, beaches, or gardens. This certainly changes based on the location, but something of this nature can usually be found.
