'Following nearly 12 years of very unsucessful dating and divorce, I was encouraged to join Love Horse by my friends and daughter following an advert in Horse and Hound. This was also how my new partner joined. He was encouraged by some friends following nearly 6-7 years of being single. Quite honestly neither of us thought we would meet the right person.
Having been approached by Jeremy (Breaconpop/Finestallion) we exchanged quite a lot of emails and talked a lot and found that we had huge amounts in common, including hunting and other likes. We exchanged lots of photos and really liked each other.
We arranged to meet and it was almost magical. There was such an instant attraction, and apparently he said that he knew that he had met the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Indeed the relationship has grown to be something of a local love story with our Hunt and local horse comunity, as we have both realised we have fallen madly in love, even if it does sound soft, and will now start planning to spend the rest of our future together.
We will be having a a summer at lots of social events and shows, planning some holiday, and on the 21st of April, we will be attending our hunt ball, with the Readyfield Bloodhounds who I hunt with, at Newarke showground with a party of our friends as a bit of a celebration.
Jeremy has said it's taken him years to find the person he wants to spend the rest of his life with, and it's going to be this year's love story. Without a doubt we are now probably grateful we did the lovehorse thing after all! It has been an amazing experience. Any man who will drive all the way from Cardiff to Derby in the snow for the woman he loves is very special indeed, but then again I have done the same in return!'
